Pre-Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine

Location: PCSC: Session 2

Interested in sports, fitness, or helping others recover from injuries? This hands-on summer course introduces students to the exciting fields of physical therapy and sports medicine. Students will explore key topics such as Anatomy & Physiology, kinesiology (the study of human movement), and medical terminology.

Throughout the course, students will build practical skills used by professionals, including basic taping techniques, injury prevention strategies, and workplace readiness skills. With interactive activities and real-world applications, students will gain a better understanding of careers in physical therapy, athletic training, and sports medicine.

This course is perfect for students interested in health, fitness, and active careers in healthcare.
