Pharmacy Technician

Location: PCSC - Session 1

Interested in a career in pharmacy or healthcare? This interactive summer course introduces students to the world of pharmacy technicians through fun, hands-on learning experiences. Students will explore the history of medicine, learn about different pharmacy career pathways, and build a foundation in medical terminology and Anatomy & Physiology (A&P).

Bring learning to life through engaging labs, including compounding “medications” using candy and creating A&P models with playdough. This course is a great way to get a feel for the field while developing skills and knowledge used in real pharmacy settings.
