Culinary Arts/Culinary Essentials combines culinary curriculum with hands-on cooking. Students will receive instruction in safety and sanitation, basic kitchen procedures, cooking and baking methods, as well as gain insight on restaurant operations and career offerings. Students will leave the program with a valid Washington state food handler's permit and be prepared for entry-level employment or advanced high school culinary course.
