Information Technology Services ITS & Cybersecurity

Grade Level: 11, 12

Credits: 4.5 per year (1.5 per trimester)   

Location: Onsite

Dates: Year-Long Program

Pre-Requisite: None - prior computer-related courses recommended, STEM classes

Program Description: The ITS & Cybersecurity program is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of the installation, troubleshooting, and management of computers, hardware, and computer networks in alignment to industry standards. Students will learn cybersecurity fundamentals and automation for factories using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Program fees apply.

Year 2 option available with instructor permission.

High School Credit Equivalencies: 1.5 - Technical/3rd Year Math; 3.0 - CTE

College Credits (Subject to Change): Students who successfully complete course competencies and have earned a grade of C or better may be eligible to earn college credits from one of the following institutions:

Bates Technical College: up to 10 credits

Clover Park Technical College: up to 17 credits

Pierce College: up to 10 credits
