Automotive Technology
Grade Level: 11, 12
Dates: Year Long Program
Location: On-Site
Credit: 4.5 per year (1.5 per trimester)
Prerequisites: None - Introductory automotive class recommended
Program Description: The Automotive Technology program is designed to train students for a variety of jobs within the automotive industry. Students will focus on maintenance and light repair in an environment set up just like an automotive service department. Students will service and diagnose vehicles, complete tune-ups, conduct brake and suspension repairs, and perform wheel alignments. Program fees apply.
Year 2 option is available with instructor permission.
High School Credit Equivalency: 4.5 CTE

Students who successfully meet course competencies, and have earned a grade of C or better, may be eligible to receive college credit from one of the institutions listed below:
Clover Park Technical College - up to 13 credits
Bates Technical College - up to 8 credits
Certifications: ASE (varies - up to 10 certifications), First Aid/CPR
